
Dr. Ahmed Fayed
Dr. Ahmed Alaa Fayed is an academic, social entrepreneur, and educator. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Management and Public Policy at Nile University (NU) and a Research Associate at the Economic Research Forum (ERF). He is also the founder and CEO of Cairo Graduate College (CGC). CGC focuses on research and learning for employment in the social sciences. Fayed serves as the Executive Director for the Modern Schools of Egypt (MSE) group. The group manages 3 schools, serving more than 5000 families.
Following his Ph.D., he served as a visiting fellow at the University of Cambridge. Fayed taught, conducted research, and consulted at many academic and non-academic institutions, including King’s College London (KCL), the American University in Cairo (AUC), the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies (DI), the Egyptian Cabinet, and others. Fayed’s research focuses on corruption, education policies, and local governance across the Middle East, with a focus on Egypt. Fayed’s research has appeared in international peer-reviewed journals, book volumes, and conference proceedings. Recently, he received an Executive Certificate in Public Leadership from the Harvard Kennedy School.
